Main Article Content
Abstract
This article investigates the careful, distinctive use of the passive forms of ἐκβάλλω versus the use of intransitive active forms of ἐκπίπτω in Euripides’ Medea, when referring to Medea’s banishment. The use of the passive verb implies an agent, while the intranstive active does not.
